SSC is Staff Selection Commission and JHT is Junior Hindi Translators. SSC JHT is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission. It is National-Level Exam.

The Exam is held to recruit for the posts of Junior Hindi Translators(JHT) in various ministries/ departments of the Government of India.

The following requirements must be satisfied by applicants in order to be eligible for the 2023 SSC JHT Test:

  • Age: 18-30 years
  • Education Qualification: Students must possess either a bachelor’s or master’s degree or the equivalent in Hindi or English, from an accredited university.
  • Nationality: Indian, Nepal, Bhutan
  • Number of attempts: No Limit

SSC JHT Exam Pattern 2023

It is conducted in two papers:

  • Paper I
  • Paper II

Paper I Exam Pattern

  • General Hindi
  • General English

Total Number of Questions: 100 in each section
Total Time Duration: 02 hours

Paper II Exam Pattern

  • Translation
  • Essay Writing

Total Number of Questions: 02 in each section
Total Time Duration: 02 hours
