The UPPSC AE Recruitment 2024 aims to fill 604 vacancies for the position of Assistant Engineer under the Combined State Engineering Services Examination 2024. UPPSC Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Assistant Engineer (Civil):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Assistant Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.

Additional Preferences:

• Preference will be given to candidates who have:
  • Served in the Territorial Army for at least two years.
  • Hold an NCC ‘B’ certificate.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years (as of July 1, 2024)

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST/OBC/State Employees: 5 years
• Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 15 years
• Ex-servicemen: 3 years + years of service rendered in the armed forces

UPPSC Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

1. Preliminary Examination:
   • Objective type with negative marking (0.33 marks deducted for wrong answers).
   • Subjects: Engineering-related topics and General Studies.
2. Main Examination:
   • A descriptive paper is based on the relevant engineering discipline.
3. Interview:
   • Candidates shortlisted from the Main Examination will face an interview for final selection.

• Pay Scale: Level-10 (₹15,600 – ₹39,100) with Grade Pay of ₹5,400 as per 7th CPC.

5. Modifications to the application are allowed until January 24, 2025.
