Union Bank LBO Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Indian citizen or specific categories from Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, or migrants from select countries (with eligibility certificate for non-Indian citizens).
Age: 20 – 30 years as of 01.10.2024.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university, with percentage details required in the application.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-creamy): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen & ECOs: 5 years
- 1984 Riot-affected: 5 years

- Stages:

- Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
- Interview
- Online Exam:
- Objective Tests (Reasoning, General Awareness, Data Interpretation, English) and Descriptive English Tests (Letter Writing & Essay).
- Total Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes.
- Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer.
- Language Proficiency Test (LPT):
- Required for local language proficiency; exempt if studied in 10th/12th.
- Interview:
- Qualifying marks: 40% (35% for reserved categories).
- Final selection based on 80% exam, 20% interview.
- Important:

Union Bank LBO Recruitment 2024 Probation Period & Service Indemnity Bond
Probation Period:
Selected candidates will undergo a probationary period of two years, starting from their date of joining the Bank.
Service Indemnity Bond:
Candidates will be required to sign a Service Indemnity Bond, committing to serve the Bank for a minimum of three years. If a candidate leaves the Bank before completing this period, they will be liable to pay the Bank a sum of ₹2,00,000 (Two Lakhs) plus any applicable taxes as per Government regulations.
