The Tripura High Court is the highest judicial authority for the state of Tripura, India. It was established on 23 March 2013 through amendments to the Constitution of India and the North-Eastern Areas (Re-organisation) Act, 1971. The seat of the High Court is located in Agartala, the capital of Tripura.
Before the establishment of the Tripura High Court, the state was under the jurisdiction of the Guwahati High Court. In 1992, a permanent bench of the Guwahati High Court was set up in Agartala, specifically serving Tripura.
The first Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court was Justice Deepak Gupta, who served from 23 March 2013 to 16 May 2016.
