To be eligible for the TPSC Junior Engineer (JE) Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet certain criteria. Applicants should possess a diploma or degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or institution.

• Minimum Age: 18 Years.
• Maximum Age: 40 Years.

Educational Qualifications –

Junior Engineer, Grade-V(A) Degree:

• Eligibility: Candidates must possess a Degree in a relevant branch of engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent academic qualification.
• Equivalences: Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree is considered equivalent to Electrical Engineering, Civil and Transportation Engineering degrees are equivalent to Civil Engineering, and Production Engineering degree is equivalent to Mechanical Engineering.
• Limited Applicability: These equivalences are applicable only for the current recruitment of graduate engineers.
• Additional Equivalence: Candidates with degrees in Construction Technology and Management are deemed equivalent to the Civil Engineering branch.

Junior Engineer, Grade-V(B), Diploma:

• Eligibility: Candidates must have a Diploma in an appropriate branch of engineering or its equivalent academic qualification.
• Recognition: The diploma must be from a recognized institution.

Selection Process – TPSC JE Recruitment 2023

The selection procedure will be governed as per No.F.6(14)- PWD(E)-2022/13642-91 dated 27-10-2022 and these Rules may be called “Combined Competitive Examination Rules, 2022”.

The examination shall have the following three parts namely:

• Preliminary Examination (MCQ Type) carrying 100 marks.
• Main (Written) Examination Carrying 500 Marks.
• An Interview Cum Personality Test Carrying 50 Marks.
