TCIL Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Education Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline with a minimum one-year PGDCA. OR
• Graduate in any discipline with at least one year Certificate/Diploma/advanced diploma in Computer Application/Computer Science/PG Diploma in advanced computing/PG Diploma in AI/PG Diploma in IT Infrastructure, System and Security/Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering/PG Diploma in System Software Development/PG Diploma in the Internet of things/PG Diploma in Embedded system design. OR
• Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology. OR
• Passed ‘O’ Level/A Level/B Level or higher-level course of NIELIT (DOEACC Society). OR
• Graduation/Post Graduation with Computer Application/Science/Information Technology. OR
• MCA / BCA / BSc. IT/ B.E./ B.Tech/ M.tech.

Desirable Education Qualification

• Preference will be given to candidates with B.Ed/Me. Ed qualifications.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations is essential.
• Familiarity with ICT in school education and the use of various ICT tools such as GeoGebra (for Maths), Stellarium, PhET Simulation, Kalzium (for Science), Open Street Map, Marble (for Geography), Free Mind (Concept mapping tools), Content Management System/Solution (CMS)/Learning Management System (LMS), etc.
• Candidates with experience in teaching, software development, or technical consultancy (software/hardware) will be given preference.

Age Requirement:

Candidates should be between 18 to 55 years old.

Language Skills:

Good knowledge of English is preferred.

TCIL Recruitment 2024 Salary

1st Year: Rs. 10,000/- per month (inclusive of employee and employer contributions for PF, ESI, bonus, security, EDLI/equivalent insurance, and other applicable components)

2nd Year: Rs. 10,000/- per month (inclusive of employee and employer contributions for PF, ESI, bonus, security, EDLI/equivalent insurance, and other applicable components)

3rd Year: Rs. 11,000/- per month (inclusive of employee and employer contributions for PF, ESI, bonus, security, EDLI/equivalent insurance, and other applicable components)

4th Year: Rs. 11,000/- per month (inclusive of employee and employer contributions for PF, ESI, bonus, security, EDLI/equivalent insurance, and other applicable components)

5th Year: Rs. 12,000/- per month (inclusive of employee and employer contributions for PF, ESI, bonus, security, EDLI/equivalent insurance, and other applicable components)

TCIL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

• Online/Offline Computer Based Test (CBT)/skill Test.
• Personal Interview.

TCIL Recruitment 2024 Training Period

The initial contract period for this program will be one year. Upon satisfactory performance, the duration may be extended for an additional one year, up to a maximum of five (5) years.

TCIL Recruitment 2024 Roles & Responsibilities

The ICT Instructor’s responsibilities include:

1. Conducting computer education sessions for students and maintaining school hardware, software, and accessories. Assisting teachers in utilizing IT/ICT infrastructure.
2. Providing IT skills training to students according to the school syllabus and timetable.
3. Training school teachers on integrating ICT into education and supporting them in utilizing various ICT tools.
4. Providing on-the-spot training and guidance to teachers to facilitate computer-based teaching and using educational e-content.
5. Ensuring all hardware, software, internet services, and Wi-Fi are operational.
6. Maintaining a Management Information System (MIS) for the ICT scheme.
7. Conducting training sessions for all school teachers and students on using e-content for classroom teaching.

TCIL Recruitment 2024 Exams Pattern & Syllabus

• Weightage: 40% Online Computer based Test and 60% Personal Interview.
• Total Marks: 100 (40 Marks for CBT/skill test and 60 Marks for Interview)
• Qualifying Criteria: 50% for Online Computer-based Test. (20 Marks) 50% for Personal Interview (30 Marks)
• Duration of CBT test: One Hour.
• Duration of Interviews: 10 – 15 minutes.
