SVNIT Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

Preferred qualifications for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position include obtaining a First Division/Class in both B.Tech and M.Tech or M.E degrees in relevant disciplines such as Computer Science & Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering. Additionally, candidates should be GATE/NET qualified. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Signal Processing (specifically time series) and Image Processing, along with proficient working knowledge of Matlab and Python programming languages.

Desirable qualifications and experience for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position include previous work or project development experience in Signal Processing, Image Processing, and Machine Learning. Candidates should possess a strong background in programming skills, particularly in Python, Matlab, or C.

Age Limit

The applicant’s age should be 18 to 45 years.

Nature of appointment: It will be governed by the administrative rules and conditions of Research & Consultancy NIT Surat/institute norms.

SVNIT Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Selection Process of NIT Surat Recruitment:

• The selection process will be based on an Interview.
• The interview date (tentatively) and the shortlisted candidates called for interview will be displayed on the Institute’s website or informed through email by PI in the 3rd week of June.
• Candidates shall bring along with them the original degree(s)/certificate(s) and experience certificate(s) at the time of the interview for verification.
• Candidates will be informed by e-mail about the interview date.
• The selected candidates must join the assignment immediately upon receipt of the offer letter.

SVNIT Recruitment 2024 Duration

• Project Title: Computational Techniques based investigation for Diabetic foot ulcers complications (CISMR)
• Project Duration: Initially one (01) year or position is coterminous with the project. The total project duration is 3 years.

The position is purely on a contract basis, initially for one (01) year, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance, up to the completion of the project. The appointment is co-terminus with the project.

SVNIT Recruitment 2024 Salary

As per the present terms and conditions of the DST-SERB (CRG) project, the salary will be Rs. 31,000/- per month for the first 2 years and Rs. 35,000/- per month for the 3rd year, along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per the norms of the Government of India.
