SSC GD Salary

• Pay Level-1: Rs. 18,000-56,900/- for the post of Sepoy in NIA and
• Pay Level-3: Rs. 21,700-69,100/- for all other posts.

SSC GD Recruitment Selection Process

• The candidates who are going to appear in SSC GD Recruitment 2024 must qualify for all the stages that have been set by the officials. Let’s have a look at the detailed selection process for the SSC GD 2024 Exam.
• The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and Medical Examination.

Scheme of Online Examination:

• The Computer examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each
• All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.
• The computer-based examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
• The dates of examinations will be informed to candidates only through the website of the Commission
• The questions in the Computer Based Examination will be on Page 13 of 55 Matriculation level
• A walk-through video/ Mock Test on the Computer Examination has been provided on the website of the Commission in the ‘Candidate’s Corner’ Section

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• Based on the performance in CBE, candidates will be shortlisted for PET/ PST by the Commission.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted at various centers finalized by the CAPF
• Candidates have to clear the race within the following time limits:

Male	Female
5 Km in 24 minutes.	1.6 km in 8 ½ minutes
1.6 km in 6 ½ minutes	800 metres in 4 minutes

Physical Standard Test (PST):

Height:

• Male: 170 cm
• Female: 157 cms

Chest – Male:

• Un-expanded: 80 cms
• Minimum expansion: 5 cm

Weight:

• proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
• Few categories of candidates are allowed relaxation in heights mentioned in the advertisement.

Medical Examination: Candidates will be shortlisted for a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) from the pool of candidates who qualify for PET/ PST.

SSC GD Application Fee

• Rs 100/- (Rs One hundred only).
• Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
