SSC invites online job applications for the post of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, and Rifleman(GD) in the Assam Rifles Examination, 2023. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has the SSC GD Constable Notification 2024 which was released today 18th November 2023 at www.ssc.nic.in. SSC GD notification 2024 pdf contains all information about the exam like registration dates, exam dates, syllabus, pattern, eligibility criteria, age limit, and educational qualification etc. This year SSC has introduced 26146 vacancies to be filled for General Duty Constables in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, SSF, and NIA forces through the SSC GD Constable 2024 Exam.

SSC GD Eligibility Criteria

All applicants for the position of SSC GD Constable must adhere to all eligibility requirements as determined by the SSC Commission. Before applying, candidates are urged to review the requirements for age, physical standards, education, and other factors to make sure they meet the requirements for the role or posts.

SSC GD Education Qualification

SSC GD Constable qualification states that the candidate who has a 10th passed certificate from any recognized Board/ University then he is eligible to apply for the SSC GD Exam 2023-24.

• Pay Level-1: Rs. 18,000-56,900/- for the post of Sepoy in NIA and
• Pay Level-3: Rs. 21,700-69,100/- for all other posts.

SSC GD Recruitment Selection Process

• The candidates who are going to appear in SSC GD Recruitment 2024 must qualify for all the stages that have been set by the officials. Let’s have a look at the detailed selection process for the SSC GD 2024 Exam.
• The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and Medical Examination.

Scheme of Online Examination:

• The Computer examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each
• All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type.
• The computer-based examination will be conducted in English and Hindi only.
• There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
• The dates of examinations will be informed to candidates only through the website of the Commission
• The questions in the Computer Based Examination will be on Page 13 of 55 Matriculation level
• A walk-through video/ Mock Test on the Computer Examination has been provided on the website of the Commission in the ‘Candidate’s Corner’ Section

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• Based on the performance in CBE, candidates will be shortlisted for PET/ PST by the Commission.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) will be conducted at various centers finalized by the CAPF
• Candidates have to clear the race within the following time limits:

Physical Standard Test (PST):

Height:

• Male: 170 cm
• Female: 157 cms

Chest – Male:

• Un-expanded: 80 cms
• Minimum expansion: 5 cm

Weight:

• proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
• Few categories of candidates are allowed relaxation in heights mentioned in the advertisement.

Medical Examination: Candidates will be shortlisted for a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) from the pool of candidates who qualify for PET/ PST.

SSC GD Application Fee

• Rs 100/- (Rs One hundred only).
• Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
