SSC CPO Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates with a graduation degree in any field from a recognized university are eligible for these positions.

Male candidates for the job of Sub Inspector in the Delhi Police (alone) must have a valid LMV (Motorcycle and Car) driving license on the date designated for the Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be permitted to take the Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.

Age

• Departmental candidates (OBC) who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as on the closing date: Up to 33 years of age
• Departmental candidates (SC/ ST) who have rendered not less than 3 years of regular and continuous service as on the closing date: Up to 35 years of age

Nationality

To be eligible, a candidate must be:

• A citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal, or
• A subject of Bhutan, or
• A person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India if they are a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
• Candidates requiring a certificate of eligibility will be allowed to take the examination, but the offer of appointment will be contingent upon the issuance of the necessary eligibility certificate by the Government of India.
