Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification:

• For Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Bachelor’s Degree with at least 60% in Mathematics in Class 12th OR a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects.
• For Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Bachelor’s Degree with Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics as a compulsory or elective subject.
• For Research Assistant in NHRC: Bachelor’s Degree with at least one year of research experience.
• For Remaining Posts: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University.

Age Limit:

• The age limit varies from 18 to 32 years depending on the specific post. Post-wise age limits and permissible age relaxations for different categories will be provided in the official notification.

Nationality:

• Candidates must be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or as specified in the official notification.

The SSC CGL 2025 selection process will consist of two tiers:

• Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Qualifying in nature).
• Tier-II: Paper I (Compulsory for all posts), Paper II (for JSO applicants).

Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-II based on their performance in Tier-I. Final selection will be based on the marks scored in Tier-II.
