SGPGI Recruitment 2024 Education Qualification

Essential Qualification and Experience for the Stenographer position are as follows:

1. Graduation from a recognized university.
2. Stenography speed of 80 words per minute in Hindi OR English.
3. Typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi OR 30 words per minute in English, on a computer/desktop.
4. Proficiency in computer applications.
5. Upon appointment, candidates must learn bilingual typing in both Hindi and English with a speed of 25/30 words per minute in Hindi and English, respectively. This is mandatory and must be accomplished within the probation period of 2 years. Candidates will be tested by the concerned Establishment through a skill test. Failure to clear the test during the probation period will result in termination of services.

SGPGI Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

The decisive date for age calculation for recruitment to all the mentioned posts is January 1, 2024. For advertisements released between January 1 to June 30, the decisive date is January 1, and for advertisements released between July 1 to December 31, the decisive date is July 1. As of January 1, 2024, candidates must be at least 18 years old and should not exceed 40 years of age.

Stenographers at SGPGIMS will receive a salary based on the 7th CPC Level 4 pay scale, with a Basic Pay ranging from Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 along with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2,400.
