CSIR-SERC Recruitment 2024

The Structural Engineering Research Centre (SERC) in Chennai has issued a job notice for Senior Administrative Assistant, Project Assistant, Project Associate I, and Project Associate II positions. There are currently 52 openings for these positions. Candidates with the qualifications B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MS/Diploma/Graduate/M.Sc/MCA are eligible to apply. CSIR-SERC Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

Applicants holding qualifications such as Diploma, Graduate, Engineering, or Post Graduate from a recognized board are eligible to apply for this post. For detailed eligibility criteria, please refer to the official notification.

Age Limit

• Senior Administrative Assistant: 50 years
• Project Assistant: 50 years
• Project Associate – I: 35 years
• Project Associate – II: 35 years

Age Relaxation:

• The upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Persons with Disabilities (PWD).

CSIR-SERC Recruitment 2024 Salary

• Senior Administrative Assistant: Rs. 18,000/- per month + HRA
• Project Assistant: Rs. 20,000/- per month + HRA
• Project Associate – I: Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA (or) Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA
• Project Associate – II: Rs. 35,000/- per month + HRA (or) Rs. 28,000/- per month + HRA

Selection Process of SERC job openings:

• The selection process involves a walk-in interview.
• In case of many applicants, CSIR-SERC may use short-listing criteria such as:
  • Higher educational qualifications than the minimum prescribed.
  • More experience in the relevant field than the minimum prescribed.
  • Marks obtained in academic qualifications.
  • Conducting a written test.
  • Any other methodology deemed suitable by the Selection Committee.
