About SOLAR ENERGY CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED(SECI)
Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd. (SECI) is a Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). Established on 20th September 2011, it was initially set up as a Section-25 company (not for profit) under the Companies Act, 1956, to facilitate the implementation of the National Solar Mission (NSM). In 2015, it transitioned into a Section-3 company under the Companies Act, 2013, broadening its mandate to encompass the entire renewable energy sector.
As a key player in the renewable energy (RE) sector, SECI serves as a nodal agency for implementing various MNRE schemes and has expanded into turnkey solar project development for several PSUs and government departments. Additionally, SECI holds a Category 1 power trading license and actively trades solar power from projects established under its schemes.

SECI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
| Criteria | Details |
| Merit-Based Selection | Final percentage of marks obtained by candidates will determine merit. In case of a tie, the older candidate will be given preference. |
| Marks Submission | Candidates must upload their final marks in percentage only. Conversion from CGPA/CPI or Grades to percentage must follow the guidelines of the respective institution. Proof of conversion will be verified during document verification. |
| Interaction/Interview | SECI will conduct an interaction/interview with qualified candidates for final selection. |
| Notification of Selection | Shortlisted/selected candidates will be notified via email regarding document verification and joining. The schedule will be communicated separately. |
| Medical Fitness Requirement | A medical fitness certificate from a government-authorized doctor (Gaz.), not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon of Central/State hospital, is mandatory. |
