About SAMEER
The Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMEER) is an autonomous R&D institution under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. It originated from the Microwave Engineering Group of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, and was established as an R&D laboratory under the Department of Electronics in 1984. In 1988, SAMEER relocated to its current headquarters at the IIT Bombay campus. SAMEER operates five centers across India: Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Vishakhapatnam, and Guwahati.

Essential Qualification
Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, or an M.Sc. (Electronics) from a recognized university/institution with a minimum of 55% marks. Final semester students can also apply but must meet the essential qualifications at the time of joining.

SAMEER Research Scientist Recruitment 2024 Salary
Rs. 30000.00/- per month (consolidated pay) with annual increment. One additional increment will be given to candidates having M.Tech.
SAMEER Research Scientist Recruitment 2024 How To APPLY?
Candidates applying for the above post who fulfill the prescribed qualifications shall have to appear for a written test/screening test/skill test for screening of candidates.
• Candidates shortlisted after the screening tests shall be required to appear for personal interviews. Date, Time and Venue will be announced online subsequently. Kindly follow our webpage link. in.
• Candidates who fulfill the prescribed qualifications will be able to download the Identity Card directly via web-link. A printout of the ID is required to be presented for the screening test and interview.
• Final selection will be based on performance in the interview which will be held at the venue (unless instructed otherwise) as mentioned in the admit card.
