About SAMEER

Centre for Electromagnetics, SAMEER Chennai which was under the Department of Electronics (DOE) was merged with SAMEER in 1987. Centre for Microwave & Millimeterwave, in Kolkata, was set up in 1994. Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Laboratory, its Visakhapatnam was established in 2014. Centre for High Power Microwave Tube and Component Technology, SAMEER Guwahati was established in 2015.

Eligibility Criteria For SAMEER Recruitment 2023

Age Limit:

• Scientist B: maximum  30 years
• Scientist C: maximum 35 years

Application Fee:

• SC/ST/ PWD/ Women candidates Rs.400/- per application per post (including taxes)
• General and all others Rs.800/- per application per post(including taxes)

Selection Process:

• The selection process is based on the Test
• The Direct recruitment to the posts of Scientist B and Scientist C would be done through a three-stage process i.e., 1) Written Test / Computer Based Test (CBT), 2) Evaluation of the
  academic/professional records etc. 3) Technical interview
