SAIL Apprentices Recruitment 2024

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has announced a job opening for 400 Apprentices. Candidates with an ITI, diploma, or B.E/B. Tech degrees are eligible to apply. The online application period runs from July 29, 2024, to August 10, 2024. Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has announced 400 Apprentice vacancies, distributed as follows:

• Trade Apprentices: 213
• Technician Apprentices: 136
• Graduate Apprentices: 51

SAIL Apprentices Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

For the SAIL Apprentice Recruitment 2024, the qualifications required are as follows:

• Trade Apprentices: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) passed out
• Technician Apprentices: Diploma passed out
• Graduate Apprentices: B.E/B. Tech (Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology) passed out

Candidates should ensure they meet the specific educational qualifications for the respective apprenticeship roles before applying.

Age Limit

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not older than 28 years as of 10th August 2024.

SAIL Apprentices Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection for the engagement of Apprentices will be based on merit, considering the percentage of final marks obtained in the relevant qualifications.

Note Eligible residents of Sundargarh District will be given preference for the apprenticeship positions. Applications from other districts of Odisha and then from the rest of India may be considered only if there are remaining vacancies after filling positions with candidates from Sundargarh District.

SAIL Apprentices Recruitment 2024 Stipend

Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961, and the Apprenticeship Rules 1992, as amended from time to time, during their engagement period.

SAIL Apprentices Recruitment 2024 Requirements Before Filling Online Registration

1. Register on Relevant Portals:
   • For Trade Apprentices: Register on Apprenticeship India.
   • For Graduate/Technician Apprentices: Register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS).
2. Active Email ID and Mobile Number: Ensure you have an active email ID and mobile number valid for at least one year, as all future communications, including any updates or corrections, will be sent via email/SMS alerts.
3. Verify Information: Confirm the accuracy of all information before completing and submitting the online registration.
4. Responsibility: You will be solely responsible for the information provided in your online registration.
5. Print Application: After successfully registering and applying online, take a printout of the filled-in application for future reference.

SAIL Apprentices Recruitment 2024 Application Process

A) For ITI Candidates:

1. Register on the Apprenticeship India web portal.
2. Log in to the home page of the apprenticeship portal.
3. Go to “Apprenticeship Opportunity” and search by “Establishment Name” (Rourkela Steel Plant).
4. Click on the respective trade against the vacancies and apply.
5. Ensure registration and application are completed on the portal; applications will not be accepted otherwise.

B) For Degree/Diploma Candidates:

1. Register as a student on NATS.
2. Log in to the NATS portal.
3. Go to “Establishment Requests” and click on “Find Establishments.”
4. Select “STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA LIMITED, Rourkela Steel Plant” and apply to the relevant branch of engineering.
