This apprenticeship, governed by the Apprentices Act of 1961 and the Apprenticeship Rules of 1992, will begin on August 23, 2024, and last one year. RRCAT Recruitment 2024 Vacancy

Efforts will be made to reserve training seats for SC, ST, and OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates in each trade at the Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore, by the Apprenticeship Rules of 1992. However, this may not always be achievable if the number of training positions in a specific trade is limited. Out of the 21 available training spots, three are designated for SC candidates, four for ST candidates, and three for OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates. Reservations will be adjusted based on the overall number of apprentices in all approved trades, if necessary.

Age Limits

Candidates applying for the apprenticeship at Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore, must be between 18 to 22 years old as of the date of commencement of the apprenticeship, which is 23/08/2024. Therefore, candidates should have been born between 23/08/2002 and 22/08/2006.

RRCAT Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

• Eligibility: Candidates must have passed ITI in 2019 or later; those who passed ITI in 2018 or earlier are ineligible. Additionally, candidates must have secured a minimum of 40% aggregate in their 10th class board examination.
• Merit List Criteria: The merit list is prepared based on one-third of the percentage marks in ITI and two-thirds of the percentage marks in the 10th class board examination. In case of a tie, preference is given to the candidate with a higher percentage of marks in the 10th class board examination.
• Confirmation Process: Candidates appearing on the provisional merit list must confirm their willingness to join the apprenticeship by 07/08/2024 through a provided link via email.
• Final Merit List: The final merit list is published on 09/08/2024, considering the confirmations received and available training places.
• Document Verification: Scheduled for 19/08/2024 at 10:00 AM at RRCAT. Required documents include 10th standard mark sheet/certificate, ITI mark sheet/trade certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), disability certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar card, police verification certificate, bank account details, apprenticeship portal registration confirmation email, and application form.
• Medical Examination and Joining: Candidates declared medically fit must report and join the apprenticeship program at RRCAT on 23/08/2024. Late joining may be permitted based on merit.
• Waiting List and Supplementary Merit List: Candidates not joining initially may be placed on a waiting list. A supplementary merit list may be published later to fill vacancies.

RRCAT Recruitment 2024 Salary

The stipend for the apprenticeship positions at Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore, is ₹11,600 per month (Rupees Eleven Thousand Six Hundred only).
