RRC NWR Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit:
  • Between 15 to 24 years as of 10.12.2024.
  • Age relaxations: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years), Ex-Servicemen (up to 10+3 years).
• Certificates:
  • SC/ST: Caste Certificate (Central Government format).
  • OBC: Caste & Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (after 1/4/2024).
  • EWS: EWS Certificate (prescribed format).
  • Ex-Servicemen: Discharge/Service Certificate.
• Ex-Servicemen:
  • Reservations for Ex-servicemen and their children based on category (UR/SC/ST/OBC).
• Education:
  • 10th pass with 50% marks and a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT.

RRC NWR Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

1. Selection Criteria:
   • Based on the merit list, consider Matriculation marks (minimum 50%) and ITI marks.
   • Merit will be the simple average of Matriculation and ITI marks.
2. Tie-breaker:
   • Older candidates are preferred.
   • If the age is the same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier will be prioritized.
3. Final Merit List:
   • Prepared division/unit, trade, and community-wise, based on descending order of marks.
4. Verification:
   • Final candidates will be subject to document verification and medical certification.
5. Application Process:
   • After submission, a Registration number will be issued.
   • Candidates must preserve it for future correspondence.
6. Unit Selection:
   • Candidates must choose one unit carefully based on available training slots for their ITI trade.
   • Multiple or incorrect applications will be rejected.
