RRC NWR Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit:
  • Minimum Age: 15 years
  • Maximum Age: 24 years (as on 10.12.2024)
  • Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
    • PwBD: 10 years
    • Ex-servicemen: Up to 10 years (as per service rendered)
• Educational Qualification:
  • Must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 system) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (no rounding off).
  • Should possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade, issued by NCVT/SCVT.

RRC NWR Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

• Merit List: Based on the percentage of marks in Matriculation (with a minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI marks in the respective trade.
• Calculation of Percentage: Marks obtained in all subjects of Matriculation and ITI will be considered.
• Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie, preference will be given to the older candidate. If the dates of birth are the same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier will be considered first.
• Final Merit List: Prepared Division/unit-wise, trade-wise, and community-wise based on descending order of marks.
• Verification: Enlisted candidates will undergo document verification and must provide a medical certificate as per the prescribed format.

RRC NWR Recruitment 2024 Salary

• Training Period & Stipend: As per Railway Board rules.
• Accommodation: No hostel is provided; candidates must arrange their accommodation.
• Agreement: A Contract of Apprenticeship must be signed before training starts.
