RITES Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Candidates applying for the Assistant Manager (S&T) position at RITES Limited must possess a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation, Computer Science, IT, or Computer Engineering, or a combination thereof.
Min. Post-qualification work experience
Additionally, applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification work experience in Signal & Telecommunication construction projects. This experience should include handling installation, testing, and commissioning of SSI (Solid State Interlocking), EI (Electronic Interlocking), RRI (Route Relay Interlocking), and PI (Panel Interlocking) systems for both indoor and outdoor Signal & Telecommunication equipment, applicable to Indian Railways, Metros, Railway sidings (both PSU and private sector).
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 40 years. Note: Age, experience, and all other eligibility criteria will be considered as of the last date of submission of the application (cut-off date).
RITES Recruitment 2024 Period Of Engagement
The appointment will be on a contract basis for one year, with the possibility of extension depending on mutual consent and satisfactory performance until the assignment is completed. Selected candidates would be initially stationed in Bhubaneswar and may later be posted elsewhere in India based on the company’s needs.
RITES Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on:
- Written Test: 60%
- Interview: 40% (Technical & Professional Proficiency – 30%, Personality, Communication & Competency – 10%)
To qualify:
- Minimum 50% marks in the written test (45% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD).
- Minimum 60% marks in the interview (50% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD).
There is no negative marking in the written test, which consists of 125 objective-type questions to be completed in 2.5 hours. Candidates in the PwD category receive an additional 50 minutes. Appointment is contingent on passing a medical examination as per RITES standards. Candidates can opt for the interview in Hindi or English.
RITES Recruitment 2024 Remuneration
Pay, allowances, and perks for the position are detailed as follows:
- Pay Scale: Approximately Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000 per month
- Approximate CTC: Rs. 10.8 LPA
Selected candidates will receive:

- Fixed/variable allowances at 23% of Basic Pay
