Educational Qualifications –
Eligibility criteria for PGCIL Officer Trainee Recruitment 2023:
1. Educational Requirement: Candidates must have either of the following qualifications:
- A full-time three-year LLB degree.
- A five-year integrated Law/LLB course.
2. Minimum Marks: The candidate’s academic record should show a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA, calculated using the formula provided by the Institute/University.
Service Agreement Bond
Upon selection, candidates will be mandated to sign a service agreement bond, committing to the successful completion of the stipulated training period and subsequent service to the organization for a minimum of three years.
The bond amount is INR 5,00,000/- for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates, and INR 2,50,000/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, with applicable taxes being extra.

Selection Process – PGCIL Officer Trainee Recruitment 2023
- The selection process involves multiple stages, including CLAT – 2024 assessment, Document Verification, Behavioral Assessment, Group Discussion, Personal Interview, and a pre-employment Medical Examination.
- For CLAT – 2024, candidates must meet the minimum marks specified by CLAT Authorities. In the absence of such criteria, the Minimum Qualifying Marks for CLAT will be as follows: UR / EWS Vacancy (40%) and Reserved Vacancy (30%).
- Following CLAT, qualified candidates will be categorized and short-listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview based on their CLAT 2024 performance for postgraduate admission. The interview will have qualifying marks for different categories, namely Unreserved / EWS (40%) and OBC (NCL) / SC / ST / PwBD (30%).
- The weightage for the selection process parameters is as follows: Marks in CLAT 2024 (applicable for post-graduation admission) – 85%, Group Discussion – 3%, Personal Interview – 12%.
- Candidates must qualify in both CLAT 2024 and the Personal Interview separately to be eligible for empanelment.
- The Offer of Appointment will be issued to suitable candidates in order of merit and based on organizational requirements.
