ONGC Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

1. GATE — 2023:

• Candidates must have appeared in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 and declared qualified by the GATE — 2023 authority.
• ONGC will consider the GATE — 2023 Score for shortlisting candidates in a 1:5 ratio for the Personal Interview. Multiple candidates scoring minimum cut-off marks will also be shortlisted.
• The final selection will be based on the candidate’s Educational Qualification, GATE – 2023 Score, and Performance in the Personal Interview. The weights assigned to the parameters are as follows:
• GATE 2023 Score: 60 Marks
• Qualification: 25 Marks (20 marks for essential qualification and 05 marks for higher qualification*)
• Interview: 15 Marks
• Total: 100 Marks

2. Higher marks will be awarded only if Higher Education is completed on or before 31.07.2023 and documentary proof is produced on the date of document verification for all the posts. The scheme for awarding marks for qualification is described in the following table:
For Engineering:

• Essential Qualification: 20 Marks
• Essential Qualification + M.Tech: 20 Marks
• Essential Qualification + PhD: 25 Marks
• Essential Qualification + M.Tech + PhD: 25 Marks

ONGC Recruitment 2024 Salary
