Age Criteria

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as of 25.10.2024.
• Date of Birth Range: Between 25.10.2000 and 25.10.2006.

Age Relaxation:

1. SC/ST: Upper age relaxation by 5 years.
2. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Upper age relaxation by 3 years.
3. PwBD: Age relaxation up to 10 years (15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for OBC).

ONGC Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Selection Process for ONGC Apprentices 2024:

1. Merit-Based Selection:
   Selection will be based on a merit list drawn from the marks obtained in the qualifying examination specified in the advertisement.
2. Tie-Breaker:
   In case of a tie in merit (i.e., candidates having the same marks), the candidate with a higher age will be given preference.
3. No Canvassing:
   Any attempt to influence or canvass at any stage of the selection process will lead to disqualification.
4. Reservation:
   The reservation of positions will strictly follow the Government of India’s policies for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories.

ONGC Recruitment 2024 Stipend

Duration of Training

• Training Period: 12 months for all trades mentioned.

Stipend

The monthly stipend for apprentices, as per the Apprentices Act, is categorized based on the apprentice’s qualifications:

Other Financial Details:

• TA/DA: No TA-DA, boarding, or lodging expenses will be provided during the training period.
• Transportation: ONGC will not provide any financial assistance for transportation.
