About NPCIL 

The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is an Indian public sector undertaking based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, fully owned by the Government of India. It is responsible for generating electricity from nuclear power and is administered by the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). NPCIL was established in September 1987 under the Companies Act 1956 to design, construct, operate, and maintain atomic power stations as per the Government of India’s schemes and programs under the Atomic Energy Act 1962. All nuclear power plants operated by NPCIL are certified for ISO-14001 (Environment Management System).

NPCIL Recruitment 2024

NPCIL welcomes online applications for 74 positions at the Narora Atomic Power Station in Uttar Pradesh, including Category-I and II Stipendiary Trainees, an X-ray technician, and a Nurse-A. 1. Written Examination
   • Duration: 1.5 hours
   • Format: 50 multiple-choice questions, 100 marks
   • Qualifying Marks:
     • General: 40%
     • SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD/EWS: 30%
   • Shortlisting for Interview: Up to 5 times the number of vacancies per category
2. Personal Interview
   • Marks: 100 marks
   • Qualifying Marks:
     • General: 40%
     • SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD/EWS: 30%
   • Merit List: 50% written test + 50% interview
3. Advanced Test (if applicable)
   • Duration: 2 hours, 50 questions
   • Qualifying Marks:
     • General: 30%
     • SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD/EWS: 20%
   • Merit List: Based on Advanced Test marks
4. Skill Test / Document Verification
   • Qualifying: Go/No Go basis

1. Visit the NPCIL careers page at www.npcilcareers.co.in.
2. Click on the link for NPCIL NAPS Recruitment 2024.
3. Click on the “Apply Online” button to start the registration process.
4. Complete the registration form with the required information and submit it to receive your registration ID and password.
5. Log in using the registration ID and password.
6. Fill out the application form with all the necessary details, such as personal information, educational qualifications, and work experience.
7. Scan and upload your recent passport-sized photograph in JPEG format, with a size between 10 KB and 50 KB, and dimensions between 240 x 180 pixels and 640 x 480 pixels.
8. Scan and upload your signature in JPEG format, with a size not exceeding 20 KB, and dimensions between 80 x 100 pixels and 160 x 560 pixels.
