About North Western Railway

The North Western Railway (abbreviated NWR) is one of 19 railway zones in India. North Western Railway Education Qualification

Candidates must have completed the 10th-grade examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Additionally, they should hold a National Trade Certificate in the specified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).

North Western Railway Apprenticeship Age Limit

Candidates should be between 15 and 24 years of age as of February 10, 2024. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates.

North Western Railway  Selection Process

Selection of candidates will be based on a merit list created by the panel. The merit list will consider the percentage of marks in matriculation (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) and ITI marks in the relevant trade for the apprenticeship.

North Western Railway Apprenticeship Salary

The stipend and training period for selected candidates will be determined according to the rules and directives issued by the Railway Board periodically.
