NLC India Limited (NLC) (formerly Neyveli Lignite Corporation India Limited) is a central public sector undertaking under the administrative control of the Ministry of Coal, Government of India. It annually produces about 30 million tonnes of lignite from opencast mines at Neyveli in the state of Tamil Nadu in southern India and at Barsingsar in Bikaner district of Rajasthan state. The lignite is used at pithead thermal power stations of 3640 MW installed capacity to produce electricity.

NLC Salary
The NLC GET Salary 2023 during the training period will lie in the basic pay of Rs. 50, 000/- along with Dearness allowance & Common Allowance (35% of basic pay) per month. Upon successful completion of training, GETs will be placed in E-3 Grade, within the pay scale of Rs. 60,000-1,80,000, commencing with a basic monthly salary of Rs. 60,000. Additionally, they will receive an annual Performance Pay and qualify for Superannuation benefits equivalent to 30% of their Basic Pay plus Dearness Allowance, as per the established regulations.

NLC Recruitment Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on the GATE score in the relevant stream/branch. The merit list of all the selected candidates will be prepared as the GATE Score 2023 and Interview marks. The stage-wise NLC GET Selection Process is given below:
