NLC Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

• GATE 2024 Score: 80 marks
• Personal Interview: 20 marks
• GATE 2024 qualified candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:6 ratio along with based on GATE score and reservation categories,
• Distinct lists for each Area (Area-1 &2), separate merit lists for Area-1 (Thermal Energy & Renewable Power), and Area-2 (Mines & Allied Services) Candidates may select only one subject area.
• The merit list will be based on the white-shrt GATE score (80 marks) and Interview (20 marks) while following the reservation norms.
• Tie-breaking done by Date of Birth (senior candidates), alphabetical order of first names.
• Offer (Provisional) after verification of document and interview, admissible to candidates who fulfill the indicated as well as are medically fit.

Induction & CTC:

• Post: Graduate Executive Trainee (GET)
• Grade: E-2
• Pay Scale: INR 50,000 – 1,60,000
• CTC: INR 13.62 Lakhs per annum (Approx.)
• Additional Benefits: Performance-related Related Pay, medical treatment, group insurance, and residential accommodation (subject to availability).

After Training (Successful completion):

• Grade: E-3
• Pay Scale: INR 60,000 – 1,80,000
• Basic Pay: INR 60,000 per month
• Benefits: Performance-related Related Pay and Superannuation benefits (30% of Basic Pay + DA).

Place of Posting:

• Candidates may be posted to any NLCIL location under Area 1 or Area 2 based on organizational requirements.
