NHPC Limited, formerly known as the National Hydroelectric Power CoDICrporation, is a government-owned company in India. It was established in 1975 to efficiently develop hydroelectric power. NHPC Age Limit
- Candidates must not exceed 30 years of age for this position. The upper age limit is extendable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates, and by 10 years for PwBD-General, 13 years for PwBD–OBC, and 15 years for PwBD-SC/ST candidates.

- The salary pay for this position is in the range of ₹50,000-3%.-₹1,60,000
NHPC Recruitment Selection Process
- For the positions of Trainee Engineer (Civil), Trainee Engineer (Mechanical), and Trainee Engineer (Electrical), candidates will be shortlisted based on the normalized marks (out of 100) obtained in the relevant paper of GATE 2022 and online document verification. The selection process involves extending a provisional offer of appointment to the candidates who are provisionally selected. Eligible candidates must have qualified and obtained a valid score in the corresponding paper of GATE 2022.
- Candidates for Trainee Officer (Finance) will be shortlisted from those registered with NHPC based on merit determined by the CA/CMA score and the online document verification process. Provisionally selected candidates will receive a provisional offer of appointment. For Trainee Officer (Finance), candidates with a valid score in the CA/CMA exam are eligible to apply.
NHPC Application Fees
- If you’re from the OBC (NCL) category, you have to pay ₹250 plus taxes (total ₹295), and any extra bank charges. But, if you’re from SC/ST/PwBD/Ex.SM category, you don’t need to pay any fee. Once you pay, it won’t be refunded, so make sure your info on the form is correct before paying.
