MSU Baroda Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For Assistant Professor / Teaching Positions:

• Master’s Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/SEBC/PwBD) in a relevant discipline.
• NET/SLET/SET qualification is mandatory as per UGC norms.
  (Exempted if Ph.D. awarded in accordance with UGC Regulations.)

For Engineering & Technology Disciplines:

• At least 60% marks or equivalent in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
• Candidates with less than First Class in Bachelor’s must have 55% in Master’s.

General Requirements:

• Consistently good academic record (at least 50% in Bachelor’s and 55% in Master’s).
• Degrees must be from recognized institutions (UGC/AICTE/PCI).
• Foreign degrees must have an Equivalence Certificate from AIU.
