About MRPL

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) is a subsidiary of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and operates under the ownership of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India. Established in 1988, the refinery is situated in Katipalla, north of the center of Mangalore. MRPL Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

The maximum age limit for Unreserved (UR) and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category candidates is 27 years, with the cutoff date set at 10/02/2024 to determine the maximum permissible age. Relaxation in the upper age limit for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST categories will apply only to the posts reserved for the respective category.

MRPL Recruitment 2024 Salary

Salary Range: Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 1,60,000/- per month.

MRPL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

a) Candidates will be shortlisted based on GATE 2023 marks, followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The management may adjust the selection process as needed.

b) Shortlisting for GD and PI will depend on GATE 2023 marks (out of 100). Previous/other GATE exam marks will not be considered.

c) Candidates for GD and PI will be called in a 1:5 ratio (1 Post: 5 candidates). In case of a tie in GATE marks, preference goes to the candidate with higher marks in the essential qualification mentioned above.

d) The final merit list will follow MRPL’s rules.

• General, OBC (including non-creamy layer), and EWS category candidates: Rs. 100/-
• SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Serviceman categories: Exempted from Application Fee.

Step 2: After generating the Login ID and Password, click on “Sign In” to log in and apply for the desired post. Provide details related to educational qualifications, caste, etc., as requested in the online application form.

Step 3: Upon submission of details (Step 2), the online system will generate an Application ID, which will be sent to the candidate through email/SMS.

Step 4: Once you finish applying, make sure to save a PDF copy of the online form for your records. There’s no need to send this printout to MRPL.
