- Constables (UB/AB):
- Qualification: HSLC or equivalent.
- Constable (Mechanic):
- Qualification: ITI in relevant trade with 5 years of work experience.
As per the Mizoram Police Recruitment Notification, candidates should be at least 18 years old and a maximum of 28 years old.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST Category: 5 years (as per Government norms).
- OBC Category: 3 years.
- Meritorious Sportsperson: 5 years.
- General Category: No relaxation unless specified under special categories.
Mizoram Police Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male:
- 1 km race in 5 minutes
- High jump: 1 metre
- Long jump: 3.3 metres
- Female:
- 1 km race in 8 minutes
- High jump: 0.8 metres
- Long jump: 2.25 metres
- Male:
- Written Exam:
- 200 marks (100 MCQs; 2 marks each).
- Subjects: General English, Mathematics, GK, Reasoning, and Computer Knowledge.
