About Mazagon Dock

Mazagon Dock is a shipyard located in Mazagoan ,Mumbai. It fabricates warships and submarines for the Indian Navy. In addition , It provides offshore platforms and associated support vessels for offshore oil drilling. The shipyards of MDL were established in the 18th century. The yard has the capacity to manufacture  warships, submarines, and merchant ships up to 30,000 deadweight tons (DWT). It can invent  wellhead platforms, process and production platforms, and jack-up rigs for oil exploration.
