JPSC Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification: Applicants for the JPSC examination must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university or equivalent. Candidates in the final year of graduation are ineligible unless they complete their examination by the last date of application submission. Candidates for the Jharkhand Yojana should have a degree in Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, Geography, Agricultural Science, or Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
2. Age Limit: A candidate applying for JPSC Recruitment 2024 should be at least 21 years old, and the upper age limit varies based on the category:
   • Unreserved category: 35 years
   • Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 35 years (as per the resolution memo dated 04.01.2021)
   • Extremely Backward Classes (Annexure-I)/Backward Classes (Annexure-II): 37 years
   • Female (Unreserved/Extremely Backward Classes/Backward Classes): 38 years
   • Scheduled Tribes/Scheduled Castes (Male and Female): 40 years
   • Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): A relaxation of 10 years in their respective category.
   • Ex-Servicemen: A relaxation of 5 year
3. Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the JPSC Examination. Candidates from other countries are not eligible to apply.
