ITBP Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

ITBP Recruitment 2025 for Inspector (Hindi Translator) – Educational Qualifications

Essential Qualification:

• Master’s Degree from a recognized university in Hindi or English with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
• Master’s Degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi and English with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as the medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level; OR
• Master’s Degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi and English with Hindi or English as the medium of examination and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR
• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects, or either of the two as the medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject, plus:
  • A recognized Diploma or Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, OR
  • Two years of experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government departments, including Government of India Undertakings.

Additional Requirements:

• Working knowledge of computer applications or equivalent qualifications.

ITBP Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection process for the post of Inspector (Hindi Translator) will consist of the following stages:

1. Height Bar Test
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
3. Written Examination
4. Interview
5. Verification of Original Documents
6. Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
7. Review Medical Examination (RME)

Medical examinations will be conducted to assess the fitness of candidates as per the medical policy issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and amended from time to time by the government.
