ITBP Motor Mechanic Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years
• Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, and Ex-servicemen as per government rules.

Educational Qualification:

1. Head Constable (Motor Mechanic):
   • 10+2 from a recognized Board.
   • Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized institution or ITI with 3 years of practical experience or a 3-year diploma in Automobile Engineering.
2. Constable (Motor Mechanic):
   • Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized Board.
   • ITI certificate in the respective trade or 3 years of experience in the relevant field.

ITBP Motor Mechanic Recruitment 2024: Salary

Constable (Motor Mechanic)	Level-3 in the Pay Matrix, Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100 (as per 7th CPC)	Dearness Allowance, Ration Money Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance (for border areas), free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, Free Medical Facilities, and other admissible allowances.

Pension Benefits: Upon appointment, candidates will be entitled to pension benefits under the “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” applicable to new entrants to the Central Government Services.

ITBP Motor Mechanic Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The selection will include the following stages:

1. How to Apply:

2. Fee Payment:
   • Fee for Male Candidates (UR, OBC, EWS): Rs. 100 (Rupees One Hundred Only), payable through the online payment gateway.
   • Exemptions: SC, ST, and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempt from paying the fee.
   • Important Notes:
     • Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
     • Applications with fees paid by modes other than online will be rejected.
     • Candidates working in government or public sector jobs must submit a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of document verification.
