The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is one of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) of India, primarily tasked with the protection of the Indo-Tibetan border. Established in 1962, ITBP is responsible for ensuring the security of the border areas, surveillance, and disaster management.
