Age Limit
The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years, and the maximum age should be 25 years as of the last date of application. Age relaxation for candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) is up to 5 years, for Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non-Creamy Layer) is 3 years, and for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) is up to 10 years.
The selection of candidates for engagement as Apprentices will be based on the following criteria:
The rates of stipend for the apprentices will be prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and as notified by the Government from time to time. During the period of training, IREL (India) will not provide any additional benefits or financial assistance to apprentices.
