Selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs. 50,000/- to 1,60,000/- per month. Candidates pursuing ME/M. Tech is part of an integrated course or dual degree course in BE/B. Tech programs are also eligible to apply, provided they have appeared in GATE-2024 in an eligible discipline and completed BE/B.Tech in one of the mentioned disciplines. Both degrees must be completed by 30th September 2024, if selected. For eligibility:

1. Candidates with BE/B.Tech in an eligible discipline and ME/M. Tech in any discipline must have appeared and qualified in GATE-2024 in the eligible BE/B.Tech discipline.
2. For Integrated ME/M.Tech with separate BE/B.Tech and ME/M. Tech degrees, only BE/B. Tech marks/CGPA will determine eligibility.
3. If a single ME/M. Tech degree is awarded, ME/M. Tech marks/CGPA will determine eligibility.

IOCL Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

Candidates applying from the General/EWS category should not be more than 26 years old. Age relaxation for other categories will apply as per Government of India guidelines. The following cut-off dates for Date of Birth apply:

The certificate issued by the Board of Secondary Education for passing Matriculation/Higher Secondary mentioning the date of birth shall be the only acceptable document in support of proof of age.

IOCL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection process for IOCL through GATE 2024 includes evaluation based on several components:

1. GATE 2024 Examination Marks: Candidates’ scores in GATE 2024 will be a primary factor in shortlisting.
2. Group Discussion (GD) and Group Task (GT): Candidates who qualify based on their GATE scores will participate in GD and GT.
3. Personal Interview (PI): Those who clear GD and GT will proceed to the PI stage.

Shortlisting Process:

• Shortlisting will be done category-wise based on descending order of GATE 2024 scores for each discipline.
• Qualifying in GATE 2024 does not automatically ensure shortlisting for GD, GT, and PI.
• Candidates must ensure they meet eligibility criteria and provide valid original documents at the time of document verification.

Document Readiness:

• Shortlisted candidates must present original documents during GD, GT, and PI for verification.
• Failure to produce original documents may lead to disqualification.

Merit List:

• A merit list will be prepared based on:
  • GATE 2024 scores,
  • Performance in GD and GT,
  • Performance in PI.

IOCL Recruitment 2024 Salary And Service Bond

• Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 50,000/- per month.
• Pay Scale: Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000.
• Additional Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), HRA/Subsidized Housing Accommodation, Medical facilities, Gratuity, Contributory Provident Fund, Employees’ Pension Scheme, Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme, Leave Encashment, Leave Travel Concession (LTC)/ Leave Fare Assistance (LFA), Contributory Superannuation Benefit Fund Scheme, Conveyance Advance/ Maintenance Reimbursement, Performance Related Pay (PRP).
• Total Annual Remuneration: Approximately Rs. 17.32 Lacs, inclusive of PRP.
• GAEs Stipend: A fixed monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000.

Service Bond:

• General: Rs. Three Lakhs only
• EWS, OBC(NCL), SC, ST, and PwBD: Rs. Fifty Thousand only
