Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) is a public sector bank headquartered in Chennai. During the nationalization, IOB was one of 14 major banks taken over by the Indian government. IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2024

Indian Overseas Bank has advertised 550 Apprentice jobs, with a complete notification and online application form available at https://www.iob.in/ on August 28, 2024. Candidates for the apprentice position will be chosen based on their performance in an online test, followed by a test of the local language. IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Education Qualification

Criteria	Details
Age Limit	Minimum: 20 years, Maximum: 28 years as on cut-off date viz. 01.08.2024
Age Eligibility	For General and EWS Candidates: Date of Birth should fall between 01.08.1996 and 01.08.2004 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation	Relaxation in maximum age for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per extant Government of India guidelines.
Educational Qualification	A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualifications recognized by the Central Government.
Qualification Declaration	The result of the qualification must have been declared between 01.04.2020 and 01.08.2024 (both dates inclusive).
Document Requirements	Candidate must produce Mark Sheets and Provisional / Degree Certificate issued from the University / College as and when required by the Bank.

IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

• Selection will be based on:
  1. Online Examination
  2. Test of Local Language (wherever applicable)
  3. Personal Interaction (if any, as decided by the Bank)
• Note: Merely satisfying the eligibility norms does not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for the Online Examination and personal interaction.

IOB  Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Application Process

  Application Process:

• Candidates must complete the online application form for the “IOB Apprenticeship Program FY 2024-25” by visiting the “Career Opportunities” page on www.bfsissc.com.
• Applicants can apply for engagement in only ONE State/UT, preferably their home State/UT.

  Application/Examination Fee/Intimation Charges (Non-Refundable):

• Only eligible candidates will receive email communication from BFSI SSC to make payment of the examination fees/intimation charges through the ONLINE mode only, from 28.08.2024 to 15.09.2024. No other mode of payment is acceptable.

  Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates should not have previously undergone Apprenticeship training either with Indian Overseas Bank or any other organization as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time), nor should they have been terminated during the course of Apprenticeship training due to their own fault.
• Candidates who have training or job experience of one year or more after completing their educational qualifications are not eligible for engagement as Apprentices.
