The Indian Navy has announced 15 vacancies for the post of SSC Executive in the IT Branch for 2024. These vacancies are open for both men and women. Below is the detailed breakdown:

Indian Navy SSC Executive IT Recruitment 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification

A candidate must have at least 60% in English in Class X or XII, and one of the following qualifications with a minimum of 60% overall marks:

1. MSc/BE/BTech/MTech in fields like Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, AI, etc.OR
2. MCA with BCA/BSc in Computer Science/IT.

Indian Navy SSC Executive IT Recruitment 2024-25 Training & Probation Period:

1. Candidates will be inducted in the rank of Sub Lieutenant.
2. Selected candidates will undergo a six-week Naval Orientation Course at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, followed by professional training at Naval Ships and training establishments as per existing regulations.
3. Only unmarried candidates are eligible for training. Any candidate found to be married or who marries during the training will be discharged from service and will be required to refund full pay and allowances, along with other expenditures incurred by the Government.
4. If an officer voluntarily withdraws from initial training or resigns during the probation period, they must refund the cost of training, either in full or in part, as determined by the Government, along with any pay and allowances received, with interest calculated at the rate for Government loans.

Probation Period:

• The probation period for SSC (IT) Officers is two years, beginning from the date of grant of the Sub Lieutenant rank and ending after two years or upon completion of the initial training, whichever is later. During probation, officers are liable to be discharged if their performance is unsatisfactory at any stage.
