Assistant
Officers under the Central Government:
- Holding analogous posts regularly in the parent cadre or department.
- Service Requirements:
- Six years of regular service in posts with:
- Pay Band-I: ₹5200-20200/-
- Grade Pay: ₹2800/-
- (Revised Pay Level-5 in the Pay Matrix).
- Ten years of regular service in posts with:
- Pay Band-I: ₹5200-20200/-
- Grade Pay: ₹2400/-
- (Revised Pay Level-4 in the Pay Matrix).
- Six years of regular service in posts with:
- Educational Qualification:
- Degree from any recognized university.
Leading Hand Fireman
Officers of the Central Government:
- Holding analogous posts in the fire-fighting cadre on a regular basis in:
- Pay Band-I: ₹5200-20200/-
- Grade Pay: ₹2000/-
- (Revised Pay Level-3 in the Pay Matrix).
- Service Requirements:
- Three years of regular service as Fireman Grade I or equivalent in:
- Pay Band-I: ₹5200-20200/-
- Grade Pay: ₹1900/-
- (Revised Pay Level-2 in the Pay Matrix).
- Three years of regular service as Fireman Grade I or equivalent in:
- Essential Qualifications:
- Educational:
- Matriculation pass from a recognized Board or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Maintenance of documents at the Fire Station.
- One year of experience in using minor and major firefighting appliances or equipment.
- Ability to train, guide, and control fire crew and take independent charge of shifts.
- Physical Fitness:
- Should be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.
