The selection process for TGC-140 includes:
(a) Selected candidates will undergo training at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun based on their merit position in the engineering stream and the availability of vacancies while meeting all eligibility criteria.
(b) The duration of training is approximately 12 months.
(c) During training, candidates are prohibited from marrying or living with parents/guardians. Marrying during training will result in discharge and reimbursement of training expenses to the government. Candidates marrying after application submission will be disqualified.
(d) The entire cost of training at the Indian Military Academy is covered by the government. Withdrawal from training for reasons other than medical grounds or beyond the candidate’s control will result in the candidate reimbursing the training costs, as per government regulations.
