The Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), established in 1928 under Section 26 of the Indian Companies Act, of 1913, was formerly known as the Indian Institute of Bankers (IIB). It serves as a professional body for banks, financial institutions, and their employees in India. IIBF is renowned for its flagship courses, including the Junior Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (JAIIB)/Diploma in Banking and Finance (DBF) and the Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). With over 600 banks and financial institutions as institutional members and around 10,00,000 individual members, it is the largest institute of its kind globally.
The Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) has released a notification for the recruitment of Junior Executive posts, with 11 vacancies available. Candidates holding a degree qualification in M.Com, MA, MBA, CA, CMA, CS, or CFA are eligible to apply. Interested candidates can submit their applications online before 16th October 2024. Note: The percentage of marks will be calculated by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all subjects across all semesters/years by the aggregate maximum marks in all subjects, regardless of optional or additional optional subjects. Any fractional percentage (e.g., 59.99%) will be considered as less than 60%.
Desirable:
Candidates must not exceed 28 years of age as of 1st October 2024.
Candidates will be chosen through an online exam, which will take place in Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, and New Delhi on Sunday, November 17, 2024, and be followed by a personal interview. Only those who have been shortlisted will be allowed to take part in the in-person interview and the online test.

The post is now open in Mumbai, and there are other openings in Lucknow (1) and Guwahati (1). Any of the Institute’s offices, including those in Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, and soon-to-open locations in Lucknow, Guwahati, and Bengaluru, may post or transfer chosen candidates.
Conditions of the Consultation:
The Institute’s background checks and medical fitness standards must be met before an appointment can be made.
The selected candidate must sign an agreement to serve the Institute for a minimum of two years from the starting date. If the candidate departs before this time, Rs. 1,00,000 in penalties will need to be paid to reimburse the costs of hiring and onboarding.
a. Current pay scale for this position is Rs. 28,300-3,150/20-91,300. By the current regulations, they will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA). On a cost-to-company basis, the entire starting package—which includes salary and other benefits—will come to about Rs. 8 Lakhs annually. A review of the current wage scale is planned for November 2024.
b. In addition, the Institute offers leased housing in place of HRA, for which payment of up to Rs. 20,000 per month is made, contingent upon the fulfillment of necessary paperwork and adherence to relevant regulations.
The application fee for the Junior Executive post is Rs. 700 (+ GST as applicable) per candidate.
