Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Ex-ITI Qualification Period of Training:

Fitter, Electrician & Machinist:

• Candidates must have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% marks) with Science & Maths under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.
• Additionally, they should possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training for one year and above.
• Duration of training: 1 year

Carpenter, Painter & Welder:

• Applicants should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% marks) under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.
• They must also possess a National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training for one year and above.
• Duration of training: 1 year

Programming and System Admin. Asst.:

• Candidates should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% marks).
• They should possess a National Trade Certificate in Computer Operator and Programming Asst. issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training for one year and above.
• Duration of training: 1 year

Freshers Qualification Period of Training:

Fitter, Electrician & Machinist:

• Candidates must have passed Std X (with a minimum 50% aggregate marks) with Science & Maths under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.
• Duration of training: 2 years

Carpenter & Painter:

• Applicants should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.

Welder:

• Candidates should have passed Std X (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) under the 10+2 system or its equivalent.

MLT (Radiology & Pathology):

• Candidates must have passed the Std XII examination under the 10 + 2 system with Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

Age Limit

The age criteria for candidates applying will be considered as of June 21, 2024, and are as follows:

1. For ITI candidates: The minimum age should be 15 years, and the maximum age should not exceed 24 years. ii. For non-ITI candidates: The minimum age should be 15 years, and the maximum age should not exceed 22 years. iii. Upper age limit relaxation:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• OBC candidates: 3 years iv. Persons with Disability: Upper age limit relaxation of 10 years. v. Candidates seeking reservation benefits for SC/ST must provide their Caste certificate issued by the appropriate authority during Document Verification. Similarly, candidates seeking reservation benefits for OBC must provide an OBC Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued by the appropriate authority during Document Verification.

Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

1. Mode of Engagement:
   • Merit list based on Std X marks.
   • For COVID Pass candidates, IX std mark sheet/X std Half yearly mark sheet is considered.
2. Equal Marks Consideration:
   • Older age preferred.
   • If dates of birth are the same, precedence to earlier Std X pass.
3. Trade Allotment:
   • Fresher candidates select trades based on merit.
   • No trade change requests are entertained.
   • Ex-ITI trained in respective trade.
4. Physical Fitness/Medical Examination:
   • Candidates must meet Apprentices Act conditions.
   • A Medical Certificate is required from an authorized doctor.
5. Engagement and Contract:
   • ITI/Non-ITI sign Apprenticeship Act contract.
   • Minor’s contract by guardian.
6. Transfer Certificate:
   • Original TC required for verification.
7. Declaration:
   • Candidates acknowledge no future employment rights in ICF/Railways.

Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Recruitment 2024 Stipend

The stipend rates for apprentices are as follows:

1. Freshers – School pass-outs (class 10th): ₹ 6000/- per month
2. Freshers – School pass-outs (class 12th): ₹ 7000/- per month
3. Ex-ITI – National or State certificate holder: ₹ 7000/- per month

During the second year of apprenticeship training, there will be a 10 percent increase in the prescribed minimum stipend amount.

For national or state certificate holders, the period of training they have already undergone will be considered to determine the minimum payable rate of stipend.

Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Recruitment 2024- Application

Apply Online:

1. Application Dates: May 22, 2024, to June 21, 2024, until 17:30 hrs.
2. Submission: Only through ONLINE mode on the ICF website https://pb.icf.gov.in.
3. Procedure:
   • Log on to the ICF web portal.
   • Read the notification thoroughly and fill out the ONLINE application form correctly.
   • Keep all relevant documents/certificates and a recent passport-size photograph ready (not exceeding 200 KB, jpg/jpeg format).
4. Registration:
   • The system generates a unique registration number as the candidate’s individual ID.
   • The password to generate acknowledgment is the candidate’s date of birth (in “dd mm yyyy” format).
   • Use the registration number and date of birth to log in.
5. Processing Fee:
   • ₹100/- + service charges (non-refundable) to be paid online.
   • SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates are exempt from the application fee.
6. Fee Payment Instruction:
   • After successful payment, a unique Transaction ID starting with ‘DU’ will be sent to the registered mobile number.
   • Preserve this Transaction ID for future reference.
7. No Refund:
   • No request for a fee refund will be entertained under any circumstances.
8. Verification:
   • Before final submission, verify the details fed in the application.
9. Acknowledgement:
   • After submission, generate the acknowledgment form from the system.
   • Print and preserve the acknowledgment for submission during Document Verification.
10. Documentation:
    • Candidates are not required to send any documents including the application form to ICF through Post/e-mail/FAX/By hand.
11. Submission:
    • Submit the printed acknowledgement form during Document Verification.
