The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC), formerly known as the Subordinate Services Selection Board, is a government organization responsible for recruiting staff for various Group B, C, and D positions across different departments of the Haryana government and its subordinate offices. Established on 28 January 1970, HSSC plays a vital role in filling vacancies in State Police, Town Improvement Trusts, Zila Parishads, Municipalities, and other local bodies, as well as cooperative institutions.
As of August 2022, Sh. Virat, an HCS officer, has taken over as the new Secretary of HSSC, while Sh. Daljit Singh is appointed as the Controller of Exams.

To be eligible for the HSSC Constable Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:
i) Completion of 10+2 from a recognized education Board/Institution.
ii) Matriculation with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects.
iii) No additional weightage will be provided to candidates with higher education qualifications.

The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 21,700/- as per the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
