HAL Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

• Age Limit: As of May 25, 2024, the upper age limit for the UR category is 28 years.
• Relaxations:
  • SC/ST: Up to 5 years.
  • OBC (NCL): Up to 3 years.
  • PwBD: Up to 10 years (additional to SC/ST/OBC relaxations).
  • Jammu & Kashmir Domiciled: Up to 5 years.
  • Post Qualification Experience: Up to 7 years.
  • Ex-apprentices (HAL Nashik): Age relaxation up to the apprenticeship period.
  • OBC (NCL) certificate validity: Not older than 6 months.
  • EWS category: Relevant certificate required.
• Maximum Age: Age with all relaxations shall not exceed 55 years; for PWBD, it’s 56 years.
• Reservation: As per government rules.

HAL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

• Application Screening: Applications will be screened based on eligibility criteria.
• Written Test: Candidates will be shortlisted based on marks in the Qualifying Examination. Cut-off percentages apply (SC/ST: minimum 50%, others: minimum 60%).
• Admit Card: Shortlisted candidates will receive admit cards via email and the HAL website.
• Exam Details: Written Test is 2.5 hours long, with MCQs on General Awareness, English & Reasoning, and Discipline-specific questions.
• Documents Required: Candidates must bring an Admit Card, Photo ID, and original certificates for Document Verification.
• Qualifying Marks: Minimum 50% marks required in Written Test (relaxable by 10% for SC/ST/PwBD).

• Medical Examination: Provisional Offers subject to Pre-employment Medical Examination.
• Engagement: Final selection subject to verification of Caste and Character & Antecedents.

HAL Recruitment 2024 Tenure of Engagement

• Tenure Basis: Selected candidates will be engaged for a maximum of four years from the date of joining.
• Permanent Employment: This engagement is not for permanent vacancies and does not guarantee regular or permanent employment in the future.
• Tenure Extension: Extension of up to an additional four years may be considered based on workload and requirements.
• Termination: Employment can be terminated with one month’s notice or payment in lieu of notice.
• Induction Training: Selected personnel will undergo 8 weeks of Induction Training.
• Shift Work: Personnel will be deployed in shifts as per company requirements.

This engagement does not grant the personnel any rights to claim regular employee status with the company.

Transfer Policy: They may be transferred or assigned to any other location where HAL operates based on organizational needs.
