ECGC Limited (Formerly Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Limited) is a government owned export credit agency of India. It is under the ownership of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, and is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It provides export credit insurance support to Indian exporters and banks. Its topmost official is designated as Chairman and Managing Director, who is a central government civil servant under Indian Trade Service (ITS) cadre.
The Government of India had initially set up the Export Risks Insurance Corporation (ERIC) in July 1957. It was transformed into Export Credit and Guarantee Corporation Limited (ECGC) in 1964 and to Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India in 1983.
The much awaited ECGC PO Recruitment 2024 has been announced by ECGC Limited. The 40 Probationary Officers (PO) in the Executive Officer (Generalist) cadre are the target audience for this recruiting effort. On September 9, 2024, the notification was formally released. As of September 14, 2024, those who are interested can begin the online application process. Applications must be submitted by October 13, 2024.

In the Executive Officer cadre, the candidates will be chosen for the position of Probationary Officer, with a salary range of 53600-2645(14)-90630-2865(4)-102090. In addition to base pay, the officers are also qualified for other benefits and allowances such as TA, HRA, DA, and medical allowance. The annual compensation for those chosen for the Mumbai ECGC PO position is Rs. 16 lakh.

(1) Candidates are first required to go to the ECGC website www.ecgc.in and click on the Home Page to open the link “Career with ECGC” and then click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE” to open the On-Line Application Form.
(2) Candidates will have to click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register their application by entering their basic information in the online application form. After that a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional registration number and password. An Email and SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent. They can reopen the saved data using Provisional registration number and password and edit the particulars if needed.
(3) Candidates are required to upload their:
– Photograph
– Signature
– Left thumb impression
– A handwritten declaration
(4) Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application themselves as no change in any of the data filled in the online application will be possible/ entertained. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. No change is permitted after clicking on COMPLETE REGISTRATION Button. Visually Impaired candidates are responsible for carefully verifying/ getting the details filled in, in the online application form properly verified and ensuring that the same are correct prior to submission as no change is possible after submission
