Age Limit

Unreserved candidates have an upper age limit of 29 years as of the closing date of their online applications. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD/Ex-SM candidates will be based on Government of India rules. DVC Departmental candidates have no upper age limit, however they must also qualify in the relevant GATE-2023 paper.

DVC Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection process for DVC Executive Trainee positions relies solely on the marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE-2023. Eligible candidates must have appeared in and qualified for the GATE-2023 examination in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical (ME), Electrical (EE), Civil (CE), Instrumentation (IN), Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC), Computer Science and Information Technology (CS), and Chemical (CH). Only GATE-2023 scores are considered valid; scores from GATE-2022 or earlier, as well as GATE-2024, will not be accepted.

DVC Recruitment 2024 Salary

The selected candidates for DVC Executive Trainee positions will initially be placed in the Pay Scale of Rs. 56,100-1,77,500/- in Pay Matrix Level 10 as per the 7th Pay Revision during the one-year probation period. Upon successful completion of probation, they will be absorbed as Assistant Managers on the same pay scale. The compensation package includes Basic Pay, Central Dearness Allowance (CDA), Medical Reimbursement, Leave Travel Allowance, NPS (National Pension System), Conveyance Allowance, Leave Encashment, House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Annual Incentive Scheme (AIS), among other benefits, as per Corporation Rules applicable at that time.

DVC Recruitment 2024 Service Agreement Bond

The selected individuals must sign a service agreement bond mandating them to complete a one-year probation period and then serve DVC for a total of four years. The bond amount is Rs. 5,00,000/- for General/OBC(NCL)/EWS applicants and Rs. 2,50,000/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, plus the relevant interest.
