Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) is a significant central power-generating organization operating in the Damodar River region of West Bengal and Jharkhand states in India. It manages the Damodar Valley Project, which is the first multipurpose river valley project of independent India. The Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has issued the DVC JE Recruitment 2024 notification, inviting online applications for Junior Engineer (JE) Grade II and Mine Surveyor positions. DVC, a premier power utility organization under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, operates in Thermal/Hydel Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Water Management, and Renewable Energy sectors. Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Scale of Rs 35,400-1,12,400/- in Pay Matrix Level 6 (as per the 7th Pay Revision) during the one-year probation period. Upon successful completion of the probation period, candidates will be absorbed on the same pay scale and pay matrix. The compensation package includes:

Selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement bond to successfully complete the prescribed probation period of one year and subsequently serve the organization for at least three additional years, making it a total of four years.
The bond amount is subject to applicable interest.
Payment of Application Fee:
(i) Candidates belonging to General/OBC(NCL)/EWS categories must pay a Non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 300/-.
(ii) Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWBD/Ex-SM categories & DVC Departmental Candidates are exempt from paying application fees.
(iii) Incomplete applications or applications without application fees will be summarily rejected.
(iv) The last date for payment of the application fee is 04/07/2024.
(v) Candidates must ensure that payment of Rs. 300/- is made in a single transaction; amounts less than Rs. 300/- will not be accepted as the application fee.
(vi) Application Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates should verify their eligibility before paying the application fee. Bank charges, if applicable, are to be borne by the candidates.
